An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed RGN to work in an exceptional authority service based in the Norwich area. As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

There are nurses that operate round-the-clock, nurse-led health  care including prisoner screening on arrival and all primary care such as minor surgery, in-patient units and prescribing. They also coordinate a wide range of other service providers, such as GP practices, to provide seamless care.

As a Nurse your day to day duties include:

·         To undertake any such other duties as may be required from time to time as are consistent with responsibilities of the post.

·         To work as part of a team undertaking lead responsibilities as negotiated and agreed with Healthcare management.

·         Undertake all aspects of medicines management related activities in accordance with Virgin Care’s medicines policy to ensure the safe, legal and appropriate use of medicines. Attend appropriate training and maintain competencies in all relevant areas

·         To treat all prisoners/patients as individuals, respecting their privacy and dignity at all times.

·         To assess individual care needs, implement and evaluate holistic programmes of care.

·         To take every opportunity to promote the health and well being of the patient.

·         To maintain close liaison with senior management team, deputising as required.

·         To develop effective communication and liaison systems.

·         To maintain clear and comprehensive, signed and contemporaneous records according to Trust procedures.

·         To facilitate/undertake training and professional updating for team and students.

·         To maintain own professional and clinical integrity in line with NMC guidelines.

·         To support/mentor team members and participate in clinical supervision activities.

·         To work in cooperation and partnership with all other professionals and agencies involved in the care of the client.

·         To be aware and act upon, when necessary procedures that are in place to protect vulnerable individuals.
